Driver & Community Care Assistant

MT Supported Living provides person‑centred support to adults living in their own homes. We are looking for community-based support workers who can drive between services and play a key role in helping people live safe, meaningful and independent lives.

This role combines driving, practical support and personal care, and is ideal for someone who values flexibility, purpose and teamwork.

What the Role Involves

You will work across our supported living services, travelling between locations to provide hands-on support tailored to individual needs. The role is varied, active and community-focused.

Support may include:

  • Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks
  • Supporting individuals with mobility, routines and medication prompts
  • Preparing meals and maintaining a safe, tidy living environment
  • Encouraging independence, confidence and life skills
  • Supporting people to attend appointments and engage in community activities
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues, families and professionals
  • Completing daily records accurately and on time

Working Hours

  • Early shifts
  • Late shifts
  • Tea & Bed shifts
  • Weekend-only roles

We offer full-time and part-time contracts, depending on availability.

Pay & What You’ll Get

  • £12.75 to 13.50 per hour
  • 45p per mile mileage contribution
  • Paid induction and shadowing

What You’ll Need

  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Willingness to travel across multiple service locations
  • Evening and some weekend availability
  • Right to work in the UK
  • A respectful, patient and reliable approach
  • Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude

Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential — full training is provided.

Locations Covered

You’ll be expected to travel across: Swindon, Wiltshire and Bristol
